The South African music industry mourns the loss of yet another young talent.
Maskandi musician Sibongiseni Ngubane popularly known as Mjikijelwa Chalaha lika shafuza has passed away yesterday morning at King Edward Hospital after a long illness.
The sad news were confirmed this morning by his brother on Ukhozi FM.
He was born on 17 September 1983 in KwaJikijiki, uMvoti in KwaZulu-Natal.
He started his music career in 2001 as a dancer and composer under the mentorship of the late Khulekani Kwakhe ‘Mgqumeni’ Khumalo. He composed several songs for Mgqumeni’s albums, including ‘Ithwasa Lami’, which showcased his flourishing talent.
