Today – Newcastle Mayor Dr Cllr Ntuthuko Mahlaba casted his vote ahead of National and Provincial Elections at ward 4 Voting Station (Hutten Heights Primary School).
Mahlaba has encouraged all Newcastle residents to go out and make their mark – because this is their Democratic Right.
All South Africans will officially cast their vote on the 8th of May and this will be the 6th General Elections since 1994 – whereby African National Congress came into power.
Citizen votes will decide which Political Party will govern the country.
