On 18 July 2019 , SAPS Newcastle commemorated this day by hosting the following events:
Firstly – A family at Siyahlala , Newcastle was supplied with groceries and clothing which was very welcomed by them. Secondly – Entailed the visit of Ekuthuleni Pre and Crèche at KwaMathukuza, The 68 children present were very enthusiastic about their “Goodies” that were given to them. The children also entertained the guests by singing vibrantly.

Motivational Talks were well presented regarding the celebration of Mandla’s day. Thirdly – SAPS Newcastle Human Resource Management visited the Elderly at La Gratitude at Newcastle. Sweet Hampers and book markers were given to the elderly. The Elderly were very grateful.

The attendance and support of role-players and receipts made the day a huge successes towards the 67 minutes of Mandla’s Day.
