President Cyril Ramaphosa has commended DA Leader Mmusi Maimane on his white privilege comments that saw his top white party members’ revolt against him.
It reported that Maimane had come under fire from some of the parties members at weekend federal executive meeting over his comments on white privilege.
Maimane told a rally on freedom day, that white privilege and black poverty must be confronted in the country.
Answering questions in parliament yesterday Ramaphosa has promised to defend the DA Leader on this view.
On the issue of the minimum wage Ramaphosa has had a debate with another DA MP John Steenhuisen whose voice is dissatisfaction on the matter when the president telling him to shut up and listen.
